HughesNet is available where you do business.
HughesNet broadband satellite Internet solutions are available to business customers no matter where they are located — even where DSL and cable lines don't reach, and where T1 lines are too expensive. As long as your place of business has an unobstructed view of the southern sky, HughesNet is there.
Service plans require a 24-month commitment. Equipment Lease or Purchase fees extra.
The more connected devices you have, the more plan data you will consume, including background downloads like app and system updates. HughesNet is not recommended as a full-time video streaming replacement for TV service, real-time gaming, or for use with certain tunnel-based VPNs.
Online games where you take turns, such as casino or chess, turned-based role-playing games and Facebook games work well. However, real-time multiplayer games that require a rapid response, such as first-person shooter or combat games, do not work well. Additionally, we do not recommend connecting console-based video games that require large updates since they quickly consume your plan data. Working from home using web-based cloud applications such as SalesForce, Microsoft Office365, or Google Docs work well over HughesNet. However, tunnel-based VPNs, where you sign into a VPN application to access your work network directly, will reduce speeds by as much as 50-70%. Disconnecting from the VPN will return speeds to normal.
