What are the Roam service plans?

The Roam service plans are designed for connectivity on the go, whether you're working remotely, traveling internationally, or in-motion with your car, boat, or RV:

In-motion use is permitted, regardless of hardware.

Once activated, you can change service plans anytime and as many times as you like via your Starlink account portal. Changes will take effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle, depending on the plan.

You have the ability to pause and resume service with Standby Mode (learn more here).

Important notes: 

Roam Unlimited users can opt-in and pay for Ocean Mode* to enable coverage beyond 12 nautical miles or to connect in territorial waters.

If you exceed the allotted data on the Roam 100GB/300GB plan, you will automatically switch to low-speed with unlimited data. Low-speed data supports basic connectivity such as email, calls, and texts. Activities that rely on higher speeds—like streaming video, large downloads, or video calls—will be limited.

For customers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Jordan, & Mexico, in-motion use of Starlink on land is prohibited due to local regulations.
